December 8, 1980: 31 years ago John Lennon was murdered, but his music still lives on, and plays a huge role in today’s pop culture. I grew up listening to The Beatles; my parents have three of the band’s vinyl records framed and hanging on the walls of our mancave (my father’s name for his entertainment room). Here is my tribute to Lennon, someone who used politically driven lyrics and psychedelic sounds to promote peace and love.
How awesome is this shelving unit, so unique! It was created by Sebastian Errazuriz, a Chilean artist and designer. The hand-carved furniture piece, called “Metamorphosis,” will be showcased in the Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York.
